“Nice stay”
The word Ayurveda, a term that comes from Sanskrit and means, Ayur (life) and Veda (science). It is a traditional Indian medicine and has spread around the world as a highly respected technique of traditional medicine. It’s the oldest known health system. With nearly 5,000 years of history, its origin dates back to the territory where India is now located.
Ayurveda emphasizes restoring balance in the body through diet, lifestyle, exercise and cleansing of the body and spirit. Ayurveda non-ocidente is considered a form of supplement medicine. Like traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda is a therapeutic system, meaning it is based on health theories, diseases and methods to prevent and treat health problems.
To understand this, it is necessary to set aside the concepts of Western medicine of health, disease and cure. Forget medical specialties and isolated use of medications. Ayurveda’s approach is not only physical vigor, but harmony between body, mind and soul, and it seems that traditional science has already collected evidence of some of its benefits. The purpose of this system is to maintain the balance of the individual with himself, with nature and with other beings. Only then would it be possible to be truly healthy and happy.
Ayurvedic medicine is known as the mother of medicine, as her principles and studies were the basis for, later, the development of traditional Chinese, Arabic, Roman and Greek medicine. There was an exchange of information with Japan, which had the same need as the Indians: to create economic medicine to serve their very poor and gigantic populations, so there is a lot of Japanese medicine in the concepts of Ayurveda. The two developed highly efficient and inexpensive treatment techniques
Ayurveda is very popular in the United States
Over the past decade, Ayurveda has grown in popularity in North America, partly due to the work of Dr. Deepak Chopra, a physician who combines Western medicine with Ayurveda. In 2004, the National Center for Health Statistics and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCAAM) published the results of a survey of 31,000 people in the United States. Four-tenths of respondents had used Ayurveda in the past.
The Ayurvedic therapy system contains, in itself, all aspects of life, it is the philosophy of the right life, which allows legitimate desires and their satisfaction, without dogmas and fanaticism, but emphasizing the uniqueness of creation. Within uniqueness, each being is recognized as a unique individual, with a unique constitution.
The treatment of the disease, in this way, is unique to each person, depending on its pathology or constitution.
The theme of “individual constitution” is as vast as it is fascinating. The more we study it, the more we don’t know. Understanding this is a lifelong process and we believe that therapists, health professionals (of all systems) would be richer if they tried to understand this science. With this knowledge, we would be encouraging the patient to look within himself for most of the answers.
For parents with young children it is of great value. Life acquires great simplicity when knowledge of the Doshas (characterization of the biological profile of the individual) penetrates us. The importance of preventive health cannot be overlooked. We don’t need to get sick before we understand what “health” is. We hope that this knowledge will be transmitted to our children, in every home, in such a way that they will be motivated to understand “themselves” before embarking on the journey of adulthood. Today’s school literacy has painfully become poor child-friendly for life.
Ayurveda medicine is about returning to Mother Nature. We pray that she, in His compassion, may heal all children and this beautiful planet.
We are a operated and family-owned business.
